This final conference aims to present the main results and findings of the research projects “Competències lingüístiques a l'era digital: La millora de la productivitat i la empleabilidad laboral” (code: 2016ACUP00020) and "Ocupaciones y lenguaje: Diseño de la escala intensidad lingüística del trabajo y aplicación a los sistemas estándar de clasificación ocupacional CNO-2011, CIUO-2008 y SOC-2010" (CSO2015-64247-P), which are about to finish next March 1st, 2020.

With the end of presenting research project main results and findings, the project coordinators have planned a final conference and meeting entitled "Linguistic Competences in Workplaces" for next Friday, February 21st, 10am to 1.30pm at the Sala de Graus of the Faculty of Business and Economics.
The agenda of this final conference includes:
- Lecture: "Language Skills, Occupations and Labour Market Outcomes: Evidence from Recent Research" by Dr. Michele Gazzola (Ulster University), economist with a wide expertise on the economic analysis of language and international project member.
- Presentation of the project web page, introducing its structure and main contents, which includes the list of occupations organized by the diferents indexes, indicators and taxonomic and semantic analysis created along the project. This presentation will be conducted by Dr. Josep Ubalde (URV).
- General overview of the main findings obtained in the project: objective attainment, publications achieved, etc. This overview will be conducted by Dr. Antoni Vidal-Suñé (IP, URV)
- Debate on future projects to be submitted to competitive calls, by Dr. Amado Alarcón (IP, URV)
This final conference is especially addressed to research team members, although it is obviously open to research people interested on the topics of language, competences and occupations as well as to any other person interested to attend it.
