The following two papers have been presented at the XIX ISA World Congress of Sociology (Toronto, Canada) by members of our project team.

• Josep Ubalde & Amado Alarcón: “Foreign language knowledge: A resource or a barrier for economic integration?” 

• Amado Alarcón & Josep Ubalde: “Conceptualizing and measuring occupational language skills”

These communications focused on some research questions addressed by the project, and were submitted to different sessions organised by the RC25 Language and Society, one of the Research Committees within the International Sociological Association.
